Security Management System:

Designed to meet the availability and volume demands of the casino industry, DERISCO's Security Management System is a complete management system for all your Security automation needs.

Security Management System is an extremely cost effective solution and can pay for itself in as little as 6 months. Depending on system volume, break-even can be achieved with image printing savings alone. Traditional picture printing can cost up to $3.50 per photo. With our system each image can cost less than 1 cent per copy!

Included Features:

  • Cost effective, efficient and expandable.

  • Security Management System’s simplicity reduces operations and training costs.

  • Increased productivity gained from ease-of-use and intuitive interface.

  • Complete incident logging system with numerous auto-filled fields and pop-up selections, automated priority and report-writing prompts.

  • Allows users to attach up to 6 photos without system modification.

  • Statistical queries available for on-demand, monthly and annual reports.

  • Designed by a Surveillance Manager and Security Team.

  • Automated report writing and timestamp logging.

  • Our system is modular and flexible. Security Management System can be modified and finetuned to your individual needs at a nominal cost.

Notice the log On Training button this loads the training data when in this mode no live data will be modified.

Included in all system modules is fully cross-functional software-level security. All auto-fill fields’ values are inherited between the modules based on user login rights throughout the software. Multiple users can access the same computer and still maintain each user’s personal settings.

*Note: For illustration purposes we have shown most windows in the new Windows XP style. Security Management system will run on pre-Windows XP Machines and has been tested on Windows 2000. However Security Management System has been optimized to run on XP

The Main Menu Interface allows access to all installed Security Management System applications. All users are provided the appropriate privileges according to their user rights. Usernames and many other repetitive fields are filled in automatically.

A single-click on the Log/Report button will bring up the following menu.

From the Log Menu users can access the Security Log, Reporting System and the Exclusion Management applications.

The most commonly used module is the Security Log. Single-click to open this application.

This is the main screen for the Security Log. Single-click access buttons are provided for the Reports in this application. This screen is where written reports are generated.

The log number, date and time are automatically generated and not editable. The actual date and actual time can be used when real-time logging is not possible.

When a new record is added, the system will auto-fill the log number, date, time, actual date, and actual time along with the initials, name and gaming license number of the logged-in user.

Once the incident type is selected, the system will set the priority and will inform the user if a report is mandatory and which group or groups to be notified. The Summary Field is for free-form text descriptions of the activity.

The report is saved report when the user clicks the Create / Update Report button. The new Security Report will track all information from the log in the same log number. One click on the reports button is all that is necessary to complete report.

The following is a sample report from the log program normally printed landscape size reduced to fit documentation:

A single click on Reports button takes the user to the Report module. The Report program has five file tabs on the top of the screen.

Page 1 gives the user access to an overview of the incident including a basic summary, dates, times, notification and officer information. Most of this page is read only and has to be entered in the log program.

Page 2 gives the user access to victim information.

Page 3 gives the user access to suspect information.

Page 4 gives the user access to witness information.

Page 5 gives the user access to agency information.

Page 6 contains the field for a narrative. Notice the report completed check box, once this is checked only management can modify the report.

The remaining pages give the user the opportunity to attach up to six photographs to the report.

Third party hardware and software is used to capture from the Security videotapes or Digital Camera Images. The Add Picture buttons on the Picture Pages are used to link and save images to the report.

Once all of the fields are completed, the Print button saves and prints the report.

One of the newest additions is the Casino Exclusions Program.

It is an on-screen image reference library used to identify people that have been excluded from the casino. Compilation of images is done locally, but future plans are to link these databases statewide.

An additional information page is in keeping with the company’s goals of a shared database.

You may edit or add information on this page.

You may print a notice from each record to assist in identification or to have a hard copy.

One of the newest additions to the Security management System is the visitor log this simple logging system with auto fill and auto date fields makes log entry fast and easy

Another new addition is the lost & found log makes tracking lost and found items a breeze with auto fill fields and access thought the system takes the guess work out of this often cumbersome process.

The latest addition to the Security Management System is the pass down log. Designed to replace the written pass down log and provide instant access to the log by all officers and supervisors. Each officer and supervisor should review at the beginning of shift to stay current on current operational situation.

This menu is restricted to administrators of the Security Management System only. Only the users authorized to use this program can change system-wide parameters. Included is User and Company information, incident types, and the ability to clean data.

The System Users program allows administrators to add or modify users of the system. It is recommended to enter all the information for each user since it is used in many parts of the system. If the Setup checkbox is selected, the user can access the set menu and delete reports.

The Company Information Program is used to input basic company information used thru ought the system.

The Incident Type module allows Surveillance Management to enter Incident / Report types used in the log and reports program and assign each a priority. It also gives the authority to assign parameters for reports,  if they are necessary, and who needs to be notified.

This program is used as it says to undelete records that have been deleted accidentally. The Surveillance Management System doesn’t delete the record until the clean database program has been run. The following screen shots show a deleted record with a black box to the left means the record has been deleted if you click the box to clear the deleted mark the record is undeleted.

As you can see the record has been undeleted simply pres escape to go thought the other tables and exit the program. When you go back to the program you will see the record is back.

The clean Database program cleans up deleted records and optimizes the database. Do not run this program unless you are sure that there are no unintentionally deleted records. Also make sure all systems are out of the Surveillance Management System, if not the program will crash and possible data loss may occur.

The Location Database is used to enter locations for the log and reports.

This is used if you are using the program on multiple sites.

The Business Name Database is used to enter casino names for the exclusion database.

The new standard verbiage feature is used for the log summary to save key strokes and to standardize some routine entries enter all Standard Verbiage through this program.
